Lockdown - Day 98

Newton St Loe, nr Bath - part of the Duchy of Cornwall Estate


Finally managed to marshall the troops this morning for a wee outing, third time lucky! Only four miles down the road to the village of Newton St Loe, where we went for a short wander in the sunshine, no sign of Prince Charles though! An hour after setting off, we were back home again. More village scenes in extras.

Not so hot today at 25 degrees, but the humidity is much higher so I spent a very sticky afternoon working in the garden. Cut back a shrub that was looking rather unsightly, now it looks VERY unsightly! No Andrew Lloyd Webber musical tonight as they’re repeating the Sound of Music, and I think cocktails will also have to wait, simply can’t be bothered.
