Lady’s Mantle.

What a contrast today has been weather wise , although still hot and steamy . Heavy rain fell this morning leaving raindrops glistening on the Lady’s Mantle , showing it at its best . 
Spent a long tedious morning on Life Admin tasks broken up with some chatty phone conversations with our youngest and eldest offspring. I always feel grounded after hanging out with them , the youngest lives in London so who knows when we will meet up again !
We spent a relaxed afternoon picking fruit and chatting with a friend in the garden . 
Is it ok , that despite not working we are struggling to summon up the motivation to do any domestic duties
I thought we would have everything sorted and shipshape once I retired but if anything it’s the opposite.
We need some visitors to tidy up for , maybe that’s the problem .
