Chapel of Love
Continuing my February task of blips loosely inspired by iconic song titles. The song in this case was sung by the Dixie Cups. The chapel in the image is the remains of the 13th century Lidwell Chapel which is in the middle of heath and farmland miles from anywhere. There are legends of a mad Monk who preyed on travellers and left their bodies in the holy well (this fact seems to have been substantiated). It's surrounded by railings but it's all very boggy and I feared that if I slipped I'd never be seen again, monk or no monk.
