Seed pods

This week on our walks and visits to places I’ve started collecting seed pods off any poppies that we’ve come across.
I’m hoping that they will dry out and give out their seeds for me to scatter in the garden.
If they give us flowers next year then we have no idea what colours to expect although I’m hoping for some pale purple ones.
Of course we won’t know specifically which poppies came from where but at least we will remember the places we visited or walks we did :)
