Gorillas in the mist on my run first thing. Then it was straight into a long day of calls. Sadly this gorgeous great spotted woodpecker flew into the window while I was on a call, I managed to get to it before the cat but it didn’t make it :(

The thunderstorms didn’t come to much, some this afternoon, some more this evening but not as good a show as we’d been hoping for.
