Backlit

A very busy day, I seemed to spend most of it on the allotment.  Potatoes were lifted to make way for the leeks that have been ready for sometime now.  Two varieties of leek were planted and the climbing mange tout sorted out.  Lots of salad leaves were picked along with the new chard.  Just one set of leeks to put in another day.  Good to have a little more room on the plot though.  Its also been pretty sunny and hot most of the time although with a little breeze which helps.

These sweeties were given to me as plants by a friend a little while back and I have been picking a few daily now.  I thought they looked good backlit through the kitchen window.

All evening has been spent getting our lunch and teas for tomorrow ready as we are off to London for the day tomorrow so we shall have an early start.  From next week we should be able to stay over which will make things a lot easier and more enjoyable.  I managed to catch the evening sunset so included this in extras.
