Last day

The end of the most stressful, unprecedented time in teaching I have ever encountered. The children have been truly amazing and adapted so well to remote learning probably more than us teachers. They have been kept safe but have also been deprived of their friendships and social interaction with each other at school.
Who knows how that has affected everyone. Time will tell. I know I have missed them so much and this has made me realise how much I love being a teacher.One of my girls sent me this message today. It melted my heart.
I now plan to relax and recharge my batteries and enjoy a very quiet summer in my garden.
