At last!

Having been away for 4 days I was delighted to see that the Amaryllis that I was given for Christmas is at last showing its colours. It seemed to grow up and up without a hint of colour but now I can anticipate the opening of the flower - and there are 2 stems.
A bright day but we are threatened with a sprinkling of snow this week. Went to my French class ce matin! and am off to book club tonight.
Should have done chores today but spent the afternoon deleting rubbish photos from my computer and copying files I wanted to keep. Necessary but very tedious!
