2020 Friday — Road Trip

We left our SoCal home at exactly 9:00 this morning; our driving time was just under 4:00 hours. Of course we stopped, I think, four times so we could potty, get food, and at the Target Department store in San Luis Obispo (because I am looking for a particular blanket for the downstairs guest room here at the lavender house). So the actual time was about 5 hours.

As we left SoCal (at about the point where we leave the communities of Agora and Westlake Village), we entered the overcast sky and the communities of Camarillo and Oxnard. When the highway turned inland toward Buellton, the sun was bright and the sky was blue.

We are thrilled to be back in this little community of Cayucos. We are hoping to stay here till August.
