DAY BY THE SEA

After 3 false starts....oh I forgot......!!!
We set off for a giant step to normality.
En route we stopped and picked up a costa coffee as The Rev suddenly felt very tired. He’s either constantly on the go or switched off :))))
We have booked an overnight stay...at a hotel only open to key workers.... not the poshest but on the sea front and surprisingly quiet. Very kind host and exceptional clean.
We had a picnic in our room looking out at sea. As the weather wasn’t so hot today the beaches were busy but not heaving as they had been on the news!!!
After a stroll in the sunny/cloudy afternoon #we found mojitos!!!! Doesn’t he look happy!!
Then we walked around the deserted Lanes!
#The evening was sunny so it had to be fish and chips on the beach. Then we walked back to out room just as the rain came!!! And it poured....the beach emptied pretty quickly!!!!!
#lovely view from our bed as we read and chilled and enjoyed the normality of a hotel room.
