First bloom ...
My step-daughter gave me seeds bombs for Christmas which I "threw" down in small patch of the garden which I see from our bedroom window in the hope of creating a wildflower patch. It looks like I may be successful: I was greeted with this when I opened the curtains this morning.
As the restrictions start to ease in Scotland, it is nice to start making plans to have people come and visit - soon we will be allowed to have indoor guests which means my Dad and his wife can come for lunch and then overnight visitors which means daughter (and others) can come up and stay.
She should have been graduating next week - the start of her working life and that of many other young people will be very different to what they had envisaged when they started.
