Make It Stop

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

After the last paddling pool didn’t survive the ‘dog digging like a maniac’ test, we bought a new sturdier (not inflatable) pool.

Except Murphy just seems to think it is a giant water bowl. He leans in, has a drink and then lies on the grass in the sun (usually next to a lovely cool shaded patch) whilst looking at me accusingly for NOT TURNING DOWN THE HEAT.

Luckily his human servants are on standby to cool him down with the hose (which he loves) before he runs right past them into the house, transforming the kitchen into a swamp!
