Tracey Emin

As the rains have lashed-down all day, I have been concentrating on some indoor projects, including my art studies. We actually own a Tracey Emin work - a limited edition print of a poster she designed for the London Paralympics in 2012.

Tracey was a leading member of the Young British Artists.  Her art is very directly related to her own life and experiences, working in a variety of media, always involving candid expressions of emotion. Perhaps her most famous, and controversial, work was My Bed (1998) which was literally that.

A first listen to some more country music - the duo Florida Georgia Line's first album "Here's To The Good Times" (2012) on which my favourite track was Get Your Shine On.
