The Water Lily

I see this water lily now every morning when I take my 1 hour+ morning walk to the small lake with red-throated divers. This water lily and its companions are always in the "closed" mode in the morning (see extra). This afternoon I volunteered to drive to the shop, and stopped close to the lake and took a picture of the water lily wide open in the sunlight. We still have about +30C!

I do not really know which blip is better, I perhaps like the extra more right now.
