Balancing on Bonariensis

It was still surprisingly muggy last night.... woke up hot a couple of times, but slept pretty well until 7, then on & off until I got up.

It was chucking it down all morning do our intended walk into town turned into a drive, just as well or we would have been drowned!!!
Once we collected what we needed it was straight back home, unpacked, a call to place our now regular Saturday lunch takeaway from Reds, which we ate in the Summerhouse, as the rain bounced off the roof lol!!

A lazy afternoon just catching up on Blip mostly. I did read for a little while and pottered a couple of times inbetween the downpours!
Managed to capture this small tortoiseshell....I watched it for ages, amazing how it stayed exactly in one place whilst it swayed back & forth in the strong breeze.

Came indoors to watch my team on TV again. It seems never ending, we made really hard work of it but got yhe win in the end.

Dinner tonight was chinese chicken curry with onions & mushrooms, with egg fried rice & peas, quick easy & tasty.

Looking forward to reliving some Glastonbury moments tonight......Adele at 9.30, so thats me signing off.
