The party is over

Torrential rainstorms today. Certainly no more tea parties in the patio.
A friend from London rung to say she was horrified to read in the Guardian this morning that she lives on the edge of London’s hot spot for the virus, Brent.
 
She falls into the vulnerable category and now feels even more vulnerable after reading that two-page spread.
 
As for the lockdown it looks as if we are heading for “herd immunity”.  It’s more and more beginning to look like its being left to the individual if they wish to isolate or not because the government are determined  to try and kickstart the economy.
 
Well, I shall certainly not be eating out, travelling on trains or buses, going to the cinema, shopping or taking a holiday abroad.
