Stage

The stage is set for our concert with the songs of Leonard Cohen, translated to Swedish. The place was Högsby church, some 85 km from home. In Corona times most of the concerts are either cancelled or moved to a later date, leaving many artists unemployed and many are suffering badly. In this particular instance, the parish decided to go through with the concert but to stream it to the members of the parish via Facebook. I'll provide you with a link here. (hope the link works outside Sweden). This is our last booking though, the calendar is empty after this show.

Some concert arrangers spend money on hi-tech solutions to provide a good experience with the best picture and sound, others, like this church keep it simple by streaming live using a mobile phone as the only source for both sound and video. That means the quality of, particularly the sound quality, is very poor. There's nothing we can do to improve matters, we do sound better than we do here but you can get a general impression. We, the group, were very happy with the concert and the sound in the actual place were very good.

As an extra, I give you my beautiful Houseleek, that suddenly decided to bloom today, probably as a celebration of it being our concert day.
