never seen so many birds in this spot but they all seem to be keeping a couple of metres apart!   To the right of this group were a pair of herons sitting in a tree, to the left another lone heron and then a cormorant . I waited a while to see if any would fly off but they seemed settled down for the night . Will try earlier tomorrow as wanting to get a short walk at least every day.
