Happiness is...

...family!  We're soooo happy that Renata, Krista, and Bruce the Boston Terrier are here! Renata and Krista arrived just after noon, and we had a lovely day just being together. There were two bucks, four does, two sets of twin fawns waiting to greet them as they drove in the driveway - perfect timing!  Lunch, sitting in the garden, a walk down the trail behind our place, sitting on the porch steps while Bruce bravely explored, supper, and a relaxing night. Bruce sniffed every inch inside and outside and has made himself right at home. What an adorable 4 month old puppy he is, already on the way to being well trained and so good natured.

Just got a message from Kalyn that she and Marky are on the ferry as I'm typing (Sunday morning) - so we'll see them today as well!
