Sunday zoom

Today we should have been setting off for Norway but according to Chris the weather is as bad there as it is here at the moment, so never mind. A bit brighter at times today but very windy.

We had a United Benefice service on Zoom this morning. It’s the second one we’ve had and it was very nice to see everyone and also be able to sing hymns. It has been agreed that the Churches will be open from the beginning of next month for private prayer. Our church will be open next Monday morning for an hour. You can see the social distancing preparations in the blip.
Having made this provision it has just been announced that church services can be planned. There are no guidelines for this yet so it won’t be happening for a while and, as we have a good number of people who might not feel comfortable with it, we will probably continuing with Zoom and written services for some time.
