Goodbye to the balmy summery weather

Today can best be described as wet, windy and a bit chillier than recent days.

There were a few brief interludes of dry weather when doors opened and folk set off for a walk or a cycle.

Up at the Heritage Park there a few clumps of these delicate looking, but really quite tough, field poppies. I didn't even try to battle my way round the loch today .... this group of poppies is right beside the car park so it was a quick photo stop before the rain returned.
