Lyme Regis
We returned to Lyme Regis today and retraced our steps from last Monday. We wanted to find a couple of paths which we missed last week. One involved walking up this very long narrow road which is the official Coast path. It was very busy with traffic as there is a car park at the top of the road. We walked just over 8.5 miles in a sort of a circle but returned by the unofficial old coast path back to Charmouth which was the route we had taken last week. This is the view coming back into Charmouth and the extra is a path made entirely of sea shells which was between an hotel and the golf course which we crossed. We got caught by a couple of showers, one of which was quite heavy as we returned back to the car parked in Lyme Regis.
