Anniversary Rainbow Cake

It is our 51st wedding anniversary today. 
 Yesterday Liliana phoned and asked if I was baking. I replied that I intended to make some fairy cakes. Oh great says she "Don't you bake because I want to do it".
The family arrived in time for lunch with this rainbow cake purple pink and blue. An unusual choice of colour and obviously plenty colour went into each bit of the mix. It had little rainbows and unicorns round the top. Liliana was so proud of her cake and her Mummy said she had done most of it herself. Mummy had just mixed the icing. Well it actually tasted delicious, I did wonder if I should close my eyes when I saw the colours!
