THE MICKLEGATE RUN

At least six Monarchs have passed through these gates, later it was known as 'The Micklegate Run" by the many drinkers & Club-goers  of the late 20th Century.
The bottom half was built in the 1200's & the top followed in the 1400's so a bit of a miss-mash....much like the Pubs & Venues that still draw in the crowds!
