California Kingsnake

This big guy was slithering under the fence as I was checking out the yard. Look closely for the diagonal black and white through most of the image. A look in large will be of help.

These are non venomous and will kill rattlesnake so I think I like it.

I am grateful to have encountered this beautiful specimen even if I didn’t get a good shot of it.
