Dog Tired

Frida is enjoying a fire after walking up Mt Iron this morning and a second walk with her friend Reba late this afternoon.
I had my exercise class and walked home. This afternoon I recorded an Oral History from another wonderful woman who has lived in Wanaka for many years. She talked for 2 hours- now I have many hours of abstracting her conversation for future researchers. It is a privileged form of voluntary work. 
Tonight, like Frida, I will relax by the fire and watch more NZ Mountain Film Festival films.
