Chops
Sunday, and a trip to that Homebase to get the daughter some potting compost - so a brief hello to the granddaughter who I’m getting to know well mainly from a very welcome WhatsApp stream of photos and videos. Check out those natty trews.
A brief sortie to the boat to tidy up the heater wiring, clear out some of the tools and rubbish, and of course I give the heater a fire up, well, because I can. Nice!
What’s going on out there? A Tory Minister character called Robert Jenrick has been creating quite a stench with some very ‘questionable’ planning decisions, and the Sunday Times do a pretty decent job on it. On the covid front, Scotland is getting close to virus free but it’s popping up elsewhere, in meat packing plants across Europe. China has reimposed restrictions in some areas, and there’s talk of doing the same in Leicester. And it’s out of control in many other places. Still, the stock markets seem to be holding up and tomatoes are plentiful, so it’s not all doom and gloom.
