Red bricks and thunder
The weather was looking distinctly troublesome this morning (see the extra) and so we headed off to Slains Castle, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel Dracula and allegedly still the haunt of the Sanguinarian Count.
The main photograph shows the ancient bricks used to build the interior of the castle and a sawn off floor joist.
