Forecast was way out...

enjoyed a lovely walk in sunshine all the time, hearing Curlew, Lapwings and Skylarks up here. Snow streaks are still visible on the Plateau, but Foxgloves and other summer flowers are in bloom. This Roe doe popped her head up amongst the Foxgloves when she saw me.
The wall of the bridge is covered in Fairy Foxgloves, a lovely sight.
