Deuchny Hill chicken

Another painted stone; this time on Deuchny Hill. Someone has been working hard.

Mrs P saw a description of the old curling pond on Deuchny Hill. It was yet another local feature that we had never noticed, and so we walked across there. It was teeming with tadpoles and I was delighted to see some newts too. I couldn't get a good picture of them (see extra) so I must go back with a longer lens and a polarizing filter.

We were treated to another good sunset too (another extra).
