Badminton session

My gym is a small part of the very large Blackwood Recreation Centre. It has state of the art courts which are home to a wide range of sports and activities for the local community. Today it was high school badminton day in one of the open court areas.

The original Recreation Centre was established over a century ago and has been transformed into a modern multi purpose community space in recent years. 

A number of specialised facilities for Gymnastics and Trampolining are now included. The centre offers in excess of 20 regular activities including the full range of court sports, fitness, health and well-being classes.
