Just One Day

I didn't roam far on the last day of my week off, and nearly failed to feel any inspiration to pick up the camera. However, the sun briefly made an apearance so I headed into the garden for a look-see.

I was delighted to find a glorious flower on the Day Lily (Hemerocallis) I bought earlier in the week, and had only planted out a day or so ago.  The lily gets its name from its flowers which typically only last for one day.

My other delight is that the Summer flowering Allium are beginning to colour up, and the bees had already found them (extra), so something to look forward to in the coming days!
