Surprise flowers

A visit from an Orcadian friend this afternoon. She's never been here before and didn't even know where the village was until today! 

Lovely to see her, bearing stunning flowers too! Really bright and cheery! We wandered round the garden, talked plants and she told me all about her progress with her allotment. 

We sat and chatted, at the prescribed distance, about our mutual friend H. So good to be able to talk face to face, rather than in text messages!
