Eggy and the Plinth Heater

Normally Eggy is like the Princess and the Pea; only the softest, finest layers of downy material on which to lie will do. But when the Plinth Heater is on, even the hardest floor becomes a meringue of exquisite luxury.

Incidentally, for those who follow these things, Eggy is his official name only. Like many cats, he has a profusion of others, some unprintable, others too intimate to be recorded here. But for you, who have not met him in person, he remains... just Eggy.
