Even the plane had its umbrella ready

It had been another typical Scottish summer’s day today with wind and rain! From my temporary residence in north Edinburgh I spotted this AWAC landing at Edinburgh airport. It has a massive rotating radar in front of its tail fin and is used for long range surveillance and search and rescue coordination. Not sure why it was landing in Edinburgh unless it needed refuelling?
