House?

A quick visit to a friend today and a blip from her garden. This looks as though it could be a birdhouse but apparently is not deep enough. My friend did tell me the house it was modelled on but I’ve forgotten! 
Checked with my friend - it’s modelled on Dunrobin Castle.
