Lockdown Double Take

I took the dogs this morning for the first time since lockdown to Tyninghame as the car park there has recently opened up. This has always been one of our regular walks with the dogs and it was very pleasant to be back there. I came across rhododendron bush with a single bloom on it and my initial reaction was that the rhododendron season was just beginning as happens every spring. But I soon realised that the rhododendron season was in fact on its way out and for the first year for many years that I had missed its spring awakening as we are now well into summer. As I continued the walk thee were not many rhododendron blooms to be seen though I did chance on this one bush where there were a few of them and this one was worth blipping.
