30 Years Young

Our Miss Motts was 30 last Friday, and had birthday celebrations that started on the Thursday. This was her first day in the office so the desk was decorated, cakes were baked (Nigella's chocolate with a lime cream filling that was amazing, and a chocolate mousse cake - you can just make out the knife sticking out of one of the cakes) this crown thingy was filled with chocolate and I brought in a cricket bat for her to wallop it to open. She tried to batter it but being a gentle sort it had to be given to Miss Katy and she destroyed it in one! Masses of chocolates fell out and the hat came to good use.

So god knows how many calories I consumed today as every time I walked down to the bottom of the office I cut another slice of cake - Laura, (my shoe model) made them and she said 400 calories a slice.
