The joy of friends

I’m still not feeling as good as I’d hoped over a week since the surgery and have been feeling a bit down about it. But I had a visit from my friend Claire today which cheered me up no end and then I had these beautiful flowers delivered by the postie from my friend Angela, along with a candle. It really made my day. I spent the afternoon watching the Wimbledon tennis re runs on the tv. It’s not so good as Wimbledon proper but engrossing nevertheless.
