My clivia on the landing is having a late second flower, it’s now fully opened. Delightful. When they have second flowers they always seem to be a bit paler than the earlier March ones.

In other dispatches we won the planning case 11-nil a unanimous vote to reject. Thank you councillors. We simply have to hope now that the applicant doesn’t appeal, and Dominic Cummings the iron fist behind Boris doesn’t completely trash the planning system.
