We do love to be beside the seaside.

We had planned a walk in the countryside today with Aimee, Becky and our two older grandchildren. Unfortunately the weather was inclement and we did not want to risk being stuck in a deluge. As Becky lives in Littlehampton we decided to walk to the beach. It was virtually empty as it was windy and squally. We crunched away along the stony beach and flung some stones into the waves as they rushed towards the shore. My daughters posed for me as I took this picture.
Grateful today for sea, salt and sand, time with my grandchildren, discovering s new park we had not seen before.
