Large Skipper Butterfly

A day mostly spent in the garden today mainly tidying up after the storm, trimming some of the shrubs and cutting the lawn.  The badger must have visited last night as there has been a lot of digging in our compost heap but I didn't have the camera trap out.  We have also noticed that a large wasp nest that had been built in one of the shrubs has been completely destroyed and we were wondering if this could possibly be the work of our badger?  We thought maybe he raided the nest to get at the wasp eggs/grubs.  Has anyone come across this before?
