Woodpecker

I took several walks today, trying to get a decent blip and having no luck. The birds flew away, the squirrels were skittish, and the ducks wouldn't come close. The last walk was with Jake while his mom went to an appointment, and that's when I spotted this woodpecker. It was a beautiful contrast against the tree and it was somewhat cooperative!! Today I am grateful for another springlike day with no rain, and a sleeping baby while I looked for a blip!!
