Virtual post-its

My to do list is too long so I have put some of it on virtual post-its, that way when I wake up in the morning I know all the things I should be doing. What joy. At least they are pretty colours!
I have my upgrade interview tomorrow so with any luck after 5pm tomorrow I shall be a fully fledged phd student! It's only taken the department over 6 months to sort this out. I just have to pass now!
Had a nice long chat to Simon today. I think we both needed it! Sometimes you just need to get stuff off your chest. It was a bit awkward though because he found out that my previous supervisor had warned me off him and wanted to know what bad things he had said! I hadn't the heart to tell him! Also talked about rude academics and tactless professors, glad it's not just me!
