Pond Side Musing

Dear Diary,

Our rain abated finally although we continued with intermittent downpours yesterday.  Today looks like a nice one, warm too.  I was itching to get back to the pond.  With all that is swirling around in the world right now, the pandemic and social unrest, it was nice to visit a place close to home that is doing what it always does at this time of year.  The pond weeds are growing, the breeze ruffled the surface and the clouds came and went decorating the surface of the water.  Nature grounds me.
