Walker Dam

A blip of the local heron who patrols a patch of wetland close to one of our walking routes. He/she disappeared for a while but has been back in his normal patch for the last few weeks.

Our youngest returns from Montreal today having been told she can do her job just as effectively from Scotland ( her office has been closed until September) . As things stand at the moment she’s going to have to quarantine here for 2 weeks - though hopefully this guidance may be relaxed shortly.
