Another Ancient Trackway

I cannot be sure but I'm fairly certain that its a continuation of  the one I  already posted about Ancient Trackways this continues in a more or less direct line. However, urbanisation in the 1880s saw the path diverted alongside the new railway before heading off back towards its original course heading towards Lingfield.

The arrival of the local gas works created this extensive brick wall, parts of which have been re-built in the past few years. It is now home to a considerable amount of Cymbalaria Muralis or Ivy-Leafed Toadflax.
