Kiln is open!

Unloaded the kiln this morning....a lot of great pieces and a few disasters!   I put on the green glaze a bit too thick so quite a few mugs stuck to the shelf!   not fun, but at least i'm having an open house this weekend, with the promise of 50% of slightly flawed work...so now i have a few more mugs to add to the table :)

Got some more good results for the dinner set glaze.....so i'm thinking next week i'll actually start firing the damn thing!!!

Another hot and sunny here, i'm in paradise i tell you, i love it hot.  I've been mostly organizing and pricing stuff for this weekends event, even got a few paintings ready for sale!
