Already brushing off the dust

We took a wander round the plot tonight.   I was going to bore you with more pictures of my sweetcorn, which is actually, quite, quite magnificent, but I spotted this little ladybird and kept my mouth away from her.

She was enjoying life on one of my sunflowers, so I thought i'd best leave her.  And not eat her of course.

The peas are coming along nicely - not quite there yet, we have about 7 courgettes on route, the shallots look like they might be ready for lifting and the onions are the biggest we have ever grown so far.

We picked Tooli another bag of raspberries  - and I spotted a lovely big strawberry ripe for the picking on the wee plot.   The beetroots are coming back... as are the parsnips.

Everything is coming up rosie.
