LD 101 Fuelling up

Just over a decade ago we changed from using oil as our fuel source for our heating and hot water to using wood pellets.   After a bit of experimentation with different manufacturers and suppliers we now get them from a factory in Girvan, via a supplier in Croftamie.

They come in bulk and we usually buy four pallets a year, with two being delivered at a time.   

I am not often here when they are offloaded but today I was and managed to get a few pictures of what is an impressive operation, not least because I only ordered them yesterday !

This lot should last well into the winter, which  I hope is still a fair distance away.
